The Duplex

Chalet Alpage is a luxurious duplex available for rent by up to 8 guests in the high Alpine village of Grimentz in the Swiss Valais region. It occupies the top 2 floors of part of the Piste Rouge Residence, constructed in 2011 and offering fantastic views up and down the valley (the Val d'Anniviers), whilst being located just 75 metres from the main cable car station. 

The duplex consists of approximately 118 square metres of living space plus a large south facing balcony. This is the largest duplex size in the building and one of the largest in the village. It is also one of the most convenient resort locations for skiers and snowboarders because it is so close to the main cable car station. Many chalets with a similiar number of bedrooms are located a drive or bus ride away from the lift.

Notwithstanding its ideal positioning for skiing, the duplex is also just five minutes walk or less from the heart of the village and its bars and restaurants. Chez Florioz, the most popular apres ski bar, is on the way back home after a day's skiing in Grimentz.

As a family we have skied most of the better known European resorts and stayed in chalets, apartments and hotels. We have tried to specify the duplex to a higher standard than you will find in most, if not all, comparable accommodation in Grimentz.
