We have spent a wonderful week over Sylvester 2023 in the appartement. There is enough space for 8 people; the location is really good close to the ski-lifts and also nearby the supermarket (Coop) and the centre of the village. The place is very well equipped. There is also a fireplace so you can create a cozy atmosphere in the evenings. They don't store any wood at the apartment, but you can buy some at the Coop supermarket (about 300m on foot)
I could not recommend this lovely apartment more. I spent a week staying here with my grownup children and their partners. The chalet is very comfortable and has stunning views. A short walk to everything. I would absolutely recommend this apartment, it is delightful.
Nous avons passé la dernière semaine de la saison dans l'appartement de Chris. L'agencement est très bien et l'accès aux remontées mécaniques est très proche. Idéal avec des enfants, local à ski au rez et casier à ski au départ de la cabine. Neige d'hiver encore sur les pistes orientées au N. Nous étions 2 familles et cela convient parfaitement étant donné qu'il y a deux étages. Une adresse à retenir.
Just retuned from a lovely pre-Easter week with our family and staying at your lovely apartment in Grimentz. The snow was good and the sunshine glorious although more snow falling would be welcome for anyone following. Zinal though is always an excellent alternative if the snow gets a little slushy in Grimentz. The location is perfect being very close to gondola lifts and the bar Floroz although the latter closes at about sunset.
The apartment is very well supplied and finished. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 7) and it was perfect for us. The table football was great fun.

It's just over a week since I stayed at Chalet Alpage and from the greyness of London it seems like a dream! Get ready for the most idyllic setting, stunning views and perfect location. So few chalets allow you to ski directly to the slopes and ski-lifts but this one does. Couldn't be easier. Amazing ski-ing on both sides of the valley.
The old village is absolutely charming and the restaurants and bars are great - try the wine bar by the supermarket, it has a lovely atmosphere and super friendly.
Chalet Alpage itself is very stylish and elegant. Fantastic power showers and super comfortable beds. Absolutely everything you need for a wonderful rest after fantastic ski-ing.
Lovely chalet in a fantastic location close to the lifts and cable car. This is my second visit and I can't think of a better location in Grimentz. The apartment has uninterrupted views of the valley, its quiet and just a short walk from the village. The apartment is sociable, designed for comfort and a bit of luxury. You couldn't find a better apartment in Grimentz especially if you're looking to combine a Swiss holiday with an extensive range of valleys to ski in.

We had a super week in Grimentz and found your duplex superbly located, very comfortable and well kitted out. The weather was glorious with sunshine and blue skies. The bigger boys had an excellent two days with Nick Parks and I enjoyed skiing in both Grimentz and Zinal. I particularly enjoyed not having to cook in the evening and we found the food and service provided by Dave and Ali to be excellent. We will certainly consider your duplex again if we return to Grimentz.
Chalet Alpage met, and exceeded, all of our expectations. The location couldn't be better in terms of access to the pistes and the lift system. The accommodation, fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the whole apartment has a wonderful sense of space and light. I would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of staying in Grimentz. As for the skiing, if you love off-piste then Grimentz is the place for you.
We had a fantastic stay at the appartment Alpage, the place is very charming and feels really cosy. We particularly enjoyed the sensation of space, the evenings next to the fireplace and the comfortable matresses.
The catering service was perfect, the home-made food very tasteful, a big thank you to Ali and her husband!

An amazing week for snow in Grimentz, enhanced by a perfect home from home. A log fire roaring every night, great views from the balcony and only a very short walk (or ski most of the week in our case) to the lifts. We loved Grimentz for walking in the summer, but the skiing was fantastic.
Do drive over to St Luc for a days skiing and you can look back at the ski slopes in Grimentz.
Do take the bubble up in Grimentz and walk back down the blue/toboggan run when there is so much snow you can only see 2 feet in front of you ( or even better - hire a toboggan and sledge it!). Do stop off for a beer at the bar at the bottom of the slopes before walking the 2 minutes back to the chalet.
Can't think of any don'ts - just don't miss it!
Stayed over New Year 2014/15 and had a great time - 2 families with 5 kids between us but plenty of room for us all. The kids loved the upstairs mezzanine which became their playroom and gave us some occasional peace and quiet downstairs! Great location if you have youngsters that can't yet ski in/out because its so close to the lifts. Thank you for a great holiday.
Het verblijf in Chalet Alpage was een waar genoegen. De chalet is met smaak en kwaliteitsvol ingericht en geeft onmiddellijk een ‘thuisgevoel’. Er is ruim plaats om met twee gezinnen de chalet te delen dankzij de vier slaapkamers en twee volledig uitgeruste badkamers. De keukenhoek is handig en staat toe om, hetzij snel een snack klaar te maken of, een meer gastronomisch menu te bereiden. Het terras nodigt uit om buiten te eten en te zonnen. Met een televisietoestel beneden in de woonkamer en een televisie op de mezzanine kan men bij een grotere groep de activiteiten toch scheiden. De nabijheid van de lift die zowel naar Zinal als naar Bendolla gaat, maakt het een goede uitvalsbasis voor wandeltochten in de zomer en voor een divers skiaanbod in de winter. Sterk aanbevolen !

For nearly 40 years i spend my skiholidays in Grimentz. Best snow and best slopes ever, that was for sure. All These years we rented different appartements (Village, Lona, Chalets) but Chalet Alpage was the best appartement ever! The "valet d' anniviers" service is also high class.

Chris, I trust you are having a great week in Grimentz. Everyone in our group really enjoyed our time in your chalet. It was everything we had hoped it would be for sure; comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great fireplace, a comfortable sitting area to bask in the success of the Canadian Olympic Team on television and a very handy location to access the lifts. Dave and Ali at Valet d'Anniviers were great and looked after me whenever requested.
I do wish to return next year and will be in touch regarding dates.
Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in Grimentz verbringen dürfen. Schnee und Pisten waren traumhaft. Zudem haben wir es jedesmal sehr genossen, wenn wir uns nach dem Skifahren in die gemütliche Wohnung direkt an der Piste zurückziehen konnten. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had a fabulous stay over New Year 2014. The location is a few minutes walk from the Bendolla lift and close to the delightful old town of Grimentz. Our party included two non-skiers and the area is ideal for walking - paths include the main route out toward Vercorin or up the mountain to lunch spots such as Restaurant Etable du Marais. Chalet Alpage is highly recommended.

What a great apartment and area. Our family spent a week in fantastic surroundings with so many things to see and do. The history and old town of Grimentz is amazing and well worth visiting.

Wir hatten ende Januar eine super Woche. Dass wir diese Ferien derart geniessen konnten, liegt nicht bloss an dem wunderschönen Dorf Grimentz, den grandiosen Pisten, den traumhaften Schneebedingungen, sondern auch an der Super-Wohnng in der wir diese Woche verbringen durften.

Chalet Alpage was simply tremendous, fabulously equipped, excellent location and very relaxing. Grimentz was a very easy and enjoyable place to spend a great week, skiing was top, great restaurants and almost too much snow...we will be back
Perfect chalet! Heb hier een week heerlijk gezeten met mijn familie en iedereen was dik tevreden. Dicht bij de dorpskern en mooie wandelingen in de omgeving. Ski in ski out en 50 m van de apres ski bar. Stijlvol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Kom zeker nog een keer terug! Thanks Chris
We had a great five days' skiing - the chalet couldn't be more comfortable nor more conveniently located with the lifts literally on its doorstep, giving great acces to superb on- and off-piste skiing. What more could you ask for?! Patrick J. January 2013

Thanks again for a ski trip that managed to exceed already high expectations. Chalet Alpage was even better than your website suggests-spacious and luxuriously appointed in a central (perfect?) location.
Grimentz-Zinal is a hidden gem - deceptively extensive pistes and more easily accessible untracked off-piste powder than one could ask for without being greedy.
