Many of us who buy in the Alps do so because we love skiing and have fallen for the picture perfect winter scenery but the summer offers an exceptional landscape for those who love the outdoors. Grimentz has drawn summer visitors for years. Some come for its extensive hiking opportunities. Others come for activities as diverse as:

- via ferrata (attached climbing) at Lac Moiry

- mountain biking on dedicated trails for all levels but including the   fearsome Grand Raid Cristalp (taking you from Grimentz to Verbier)

- tennis on the village courts

- golf at nearby courses

and not forgetting the famous taking of the cows up to the summer pastures, an event celebrated in June each year.
